About me

First and foremost I am a Christian. I love reading the Scriptures every day and taking one to heart to apply to each situation during the day.

I met Herk Oct 6th 1966 at 715 am on the first floor, during report at the Hanna hospital in Hanna AB.

We married Dec 28th 1967 and lived in Hanna for a few years.

Our first 2 boys David and Christopher were born in AB and Robin was born in ON. Daniel arrived at two years old making a nice even number.

We had a wonderful time with trips to the cottage, helping my parents and all our assorted pets.
Robin and Cheryl have had a very challenging year. Her Dad went on to Heaven and Robin’s two pets are gone, One-Eyed Buzzy and Bunny. Daniel has a new job as does Sylvie.

Herk was given 3 weeks -3 months to live 10 years ago with stage 3 melanoma. After 9 months of brutal chemo, 4 surgeries, 25 radiation treatments he was nearly gone, BUT GOD had other plans for him.

I really enjoyed the last 16 of 42 years Nursing, Palliative Care, private duty and visit nurse to a very large community.

I was dragged to my first card club less than a year ago fully intending to dislike it.

The enjoyment I get making cards, meeting new friends in person, and online is more than I  could ever have hoped for.

Oh give thanks unto the LORD He is good and His mercy endures forever.  1 Chronicles 16:34

Dear Carole, I was looking over all my Young Living inactive members and came across your name and noticed you had a blog so I clicked on it. I'm so glad I was able to read a little bit about you and your family. Thank you for sharing your family story. Is there anything I could do that might convince you to come back to Young Living? I have several nurses who use quite a few of the oils on their patients. I'm sure you are aware that essential oils are mentioned over 180 times in the Bible. And, one of the oils that was given to Christ was Frankinscense, which is now being used in cancer-treatment trials. Blessings, J.R. Roessl
