Tuesdays Sketch with a Twist from Marks Finest
Paper’s a
Hendrich Co. The twist was “distressing” the card.
You try and distress their paper, I wet it,
crumbled it, took the edge of a streak knife to it, used a course emory board, re-sprayed it with water and tea stain,
dropped stain onto it and finally embossed it.
After 24 hours of doing that I put the
distress tool on my next order.
However I was more distressed than the
card.
I remembered when our basement flooded in
Osgoode and the steamer trunk and all our valuable papers got soaked. It looked
like the wet letters had a shadow so I double stamped the words and sentiments
trying to get that effect. I may need more practises
I will enter this card into these
challenges….

I use a pair of scissors to distress with. I am amazed at what all your paper had gone through- it looks fabulous.
