Welcome
to my blog, The Diamond Dragonfly
My Dad, David William Robb, played the bagpipes and
was in the Kemptville Legion pipe band. We NEVER missed an Armistice Day service. This year, a known
name was entered, because a member of our Armed Forces was murdered a few weeks back while standing
guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
Daddy, along with all the other troops, landed in Sicily,
went through Europe and ended up in Holland. He along with other musicians
stayed behind to play for the wounded troops as they awaited transport home.
We did it; all five cords of wood are piled. Three
cords beside the house to be tarped after a few days of wind, and two cords in
front of the flower bed close to the steps. Also, I have fixed the entrance to
the portable garage.
The squirrels are another story and that chapter hasn't been written. The sonic blaster seemed to be useless, next it is the old
chili powder application. After that it
is the old live trap relocation plan. I hate to do this because all their food
is here.
Another fun, family friendly
challenge with a wholesome sentiment, and ‘of course’ it’s “Anything
Goes” as far as styles or projects.
This is our 157th. Thank you for taking time to post your very beautiful art with us.
Congratulations to the winners from last week.
Once again, we had many beautiful entries.
All your cards, tags and projects are extremely
beautiful. I find great inspiration when I see your work and it always
challenges me.
