Having Done all to Stand, Stand Therefore

I am entering some challenges with this card and 3D envelope.
The only way I was able to restore peace in our home when an argument between my parents seemed to go on, and on, and on. I would say this, “Daddy let’s go sing”. I stood at his left hand as he began to play Hymns. We would sing and when we heard Mommy join in we knew ‘Peace’ was established one more time. Stampin Sister’s in Christ #162 here is my entry.  http://stampinsistersinchrist.blogspot.ca/2012/10/challenge-162-john-1633.html

My favourite thing at home was singing Hymns at my Dads left hand while he played our favourites on the piano.  Most Hymns are based on particular Scriptures.  Thank you Twist of Faith for having this #7 challenge.  http://twistoffaithcards.blogspot.ca/2012/10/7-your-favourite.html

As Anything Goes I will use this labor of love as my entry into The Bearly Mine Challenge # 57.  http://bearlymine-challenges.blogspot.ca/2012/10/challenge-57-anything-goes.html

This Pastor appreciation card was made because no one will ever know what a blessing it is to me to see my children and grandchildren nurtured and exhorted to excellence by our Pastors. Thank you for challenge #50 Blessings From God.

Pin and tack Challenge #2 Anything Goes. I wonder if a decorated paperclip would suffice? I am entering this challenge with hope in my heart.  http://pinandtack.blogspot.ca/2012/10/spark-your-creativity-now-challenge-2.html

Thank you all for visiting my Blog. It would be an honor to have you 'sign up' with me. I appreciate  your talent, creativity and graciousness. Blessings to all, Carole

Gorgeous card, and I so enjoyed hearing about singing with your Dad. I miss the days of dancing in the living room with my Daddy when I was little. I would stand on his feet and he would waltz me around the room. Great memories, and thanks so much for sharing at Word Art Wednesday, I appreciate you SO very much.

All of these are wonderful. Glad you had a family that would sing hymns together, that is a memorable tradition. Thanks for joining us this week at Stampin' Sisters in Christ.
