My Dear Mother

My mother Mary Harvey was born in Cannobie Scotland on a trip my Granny made to visit her homeland.  Mom's parents were James Harvey and Jeannie Porteous.
Mama will be 95 on Oct 17th. She is deaf, and can see a small area from just her right eye. She is mentus compus, but is sleeping more each week.

Mama told me to love God more than anyone else.

I’ve made her birthday card as follows.

The Tartan represents her birth in Scotland. The three small roses strung on the pin are her siblings and her three children. The large flower, the love of her life David Robb our dad.

The flowers in the lower left hand side her three great_grandsons, the sparkling heart her great- granddaughter. The three small hearts three more great-granddaughters. (This just concerns my family). She has many other Grandchilren and GGG.
I could go on for hours but I won’t, other than to say she is VERY special and oh so dear to me.

"Honor your father and mother"--which is the first commandment with a promise—Eph 6:2

I thank God for my Mother  and wish her a Blessed Happy Birthday!  Carole

I'm so touched by the obvious love that you have for your mother, and the gift you have created for her will be so dear to her. I love all the connections that you've made to her family.....a beautiful creation, indeed. Thank you so much for linking to our challenge at Twist of Faith, and for the mention in your lovely post.
