Wear A Poppy on Remembrance Day!

This card is a tribute to all the men and women who have served their countries in wartime. My Father and my both Grandfathers and both Great Grandfathers served during wartime.
My dad, David William Robb served on the front lines from Sicily to Holland , where he stayed to play for the troops that were injured and unable to travel home.
After he finally arrived home he played in a legion pipe band. Rain, sleet or snow, we NEVER missed the parades nor the Remembrance services at the cenotaph.
Psalm 91 Blessings to all,
Carole

Challenges I am entering with this card even tho’ I don’t have any poppy stamps I improvised. It will go in the mail for my Mom, late but she will like it.

What a lovely, lovely card, Carole! It is so important to take time to reflect on the freedoms we now enjoy thanks to the men and women who served our country. How proud you must be of your father and grandfathers!!

Thank you for taking the time to comment on my blog. I'm always delighted to discover Canadian bloggers. I also live in Ontario - and used to live in Ottawa years ago. (I'm an Ottawa U grad!)

Blessings to you!
