I Think That I Shall Never See A Poem.........

Welcome to my blog, The Diamond Dragonfly

Here it is mid-February and I am just now getting started on my favorite Christmas card challenge at 52 {Christmas } Card Challenge found here.

This challenge is a Christmas landscape.

This stamp is the first one I ever used and I really like it.
This is what I tried. I used Versamark and Tempting Turquoise and stamped it onto glossy photo paper never knowing if embossing with heat would ruin the paper. I heated from the bottom to melt the clear powder.
Next I used some white WOW glitter to mimic snow on the trees. It warped with the Tombow glue likely because I didn't spread it enough.

It was very difficult for me not to get the ribbon and bling but I just left it as it.
Needless to say it took me two and a half hours.

Fabulous card Carole - love the way the embossing has shown up the trees, and the glitter is a perfect touch.

oh gosh, I can definitely relate to you on this card. I've had CAS cards take me that long (believe it or not). Sometimes we just have to keep messing around until it works as we envisioned it. Anyway...it was well worth the time you put into it as its gorgeous! The trees are completely stunning. Thanks for joining us this week at 52CCT. Keep coming each week now and you'll have lots of beautiful cards for Christmas.
