Word Art Wednesday………………………….AG with a family friendly sentiment and theme.
This is a very heartfelt tag. My mother was such a wonderful woman. She painted most of the walls in our family home mint green simply because she liked it.

Every stitch of clothing she washed, in a wooden tub, a ringer washing machine or the automatic washer went out onto the clothesline, winter, summer spring or fall. The worst days in the winter she put the basket out to freeze and then hung it on the rack indoors when it thawed.

The wee clothespins are holding a faux towel that went through the crimper ( faux ringer). The mint green ribbon and matte for the sentiment are color memories of each wall in the house.

Mommy always put paper doilies under food she prepared for a friend and every morning Daddy sang a few lines from “There’s a bluebird on your windowsill there’s a rainbow in the sky”.

She loved it when we picked daisies from the field and the famous Dragonfly story will be for another day.

A HUGE thank-you to Diane at Diane’s Daydream Designs for creating such beautiful and wholesome images for people to use. This came from Mother’s Garden Ensemble. I like a good bargain and the prices in this store are for every budget.

This is so beautiful, Carole. You have used little touches from your youth in such a lovely way. Your mother was a saint. Those wringer machines made one's hands rough and red because the hands were constantly in water.
