FrostQuakes!

Welcome to my blog, The Diamond Dragonfly
Another fun, family friendly challenge with a wholesome sentiment, and ‘of course’ it’s “Anything Goes” as far as styles or projects.
This is our 165th challenge.  Thank you so much for taking time to share your magnificent art with us. We appreciate your participation and we really like seeing what you have been working on.
Congratulations to the winners from last week.  Once again, we had so beautiful entries.
What a week we've had here in Cumberland. The furnace at the church needed repair and although it wasn't too cold we had some rather nasty freezing rain which didn't dampen the service although people were given time to go and retrieve their coats.
The next card played by the weather is minus 9*F. very cold indeed. Frostquakes day and night .Picture me outside trying to stay on my feet while attempting to open every door on the car, frozen closed from all the rain. After a big bottle of rubbing alcohol and time, lots of time.........., I finally got the drivers door open. When I went to pick up Ken yet the other doors refused to open.
Another picture for you. Me lifting my right leg up over the automatic shift apparatus and kick/ pushing the door from the inside while Ken pulled from the outside.
It is supposed to be colder tonight.
The full moon was so bright around 0400 the ice coated trees were sparkling. It was beautiful.

This money envelope was not only to get a scripture into particular hands, but also something they might keep around for a week. It's much prettier than this picture shows.

What a beautiful creation Carole, love your colours, and what a nice way to get scripture to some one.
I had to laugh at your story about the car doors - we have had 82 oF (27oC) here today, with 50% humidity - and now a thunderstorm - at least I won't have to water my garden tonight :-).
Blessings

Carole this is just so beautiful with the teal and peach colouring and the wording is once again so perfect in that circle.
